bindu: it is OK nishu ask whatever you like; Ask yourself nishu,,,, WHO IS SEEING THIS?
Then
turn your inner attention back upon itself; Ask who sees this. Ramana has
said: "Ask to whom does this arise?"
tatasthaa: Not on the colour of clouds?
bindu: No.
tatasthaa: ok.. So where is the inner space? How would it look?
bindu: Sit down and begin meditation; then ask this>>>>
Who am I?
Then ask the one who asked Who am I -- who asked you to ask "ME" who i am?
Then try to see who asked the one who asked.....
Do you see what i mean?
tatasthaa: ok ji. But then i will be only focusing asking questions? Yes?
bindu: No, no, focus on looking for the Asker..
Now make sure you remember that if any sort of being or person arises
someone is looking at it, or him - that one looking at the thought is The Self.....
No matter what we think see or do in the inner space - always there is one looking who
cannot be seen .... yes?
tatasthaa: yes ji
bindu: so do you unerdstand this?
tatasthaa: i understand ji. but.. it is beyond the understanding of the mind.
so.. i have to read it twice.. yes the understanding is there.
bindu: when you notice that the space must be empty to receive an new thought (you cannot think two things at once) having noticed this space, you will actually be existing AS that space... what you must then understand is that the SPACE is INFINITE.
Thus it is the Para-Brahman but at the moment you do not realize that it is always there.
tatasthaa: How do we sense or feel the space ji? Can we see it..?
bindu: how can it be seen by any senses? "IT SEES ITSELF"
recall above i said void in void as void?
- it is to become conscious AS VOID
not to be existing in void as the i-concept. It is to be completely I-LESS
(Ramana calls it I-I)
tatasthaa: jai
bindu: It is an I who has no definition .... no attributes..... no limit; an I within whom all of existence exists; an I who is beyond existence and also Time!
tatasthaa: jai
bindu: An i within whom even Time itself exists.
tatasthaa: Jai Bindu Ji
bindu: But i tell you it is achievable for you all!
tatasthaa: Jai Radhe!
bindu: If you will only understand what si being said.
tatasthaa: yes ji. but also practice required.
Can i ask you one more thing?
if "I" Cease to exist.. how would i love my Krishna? Because "I" would rather exist and love him.
bindu: It is to realize He loves Himself AS you (this means He has become the form of nishu to love
Himself so how can there be any difference between Radha and himself?
bindu: Rama-Krishna said: "Oh Kali please do not take me all the way into you
because if you do who will worship you? he said: Then i will disappear and so will you."
tatasthaa: yes.. ji i don't want that to happen.
bindu:
tatasthaa: What is the point ji.. if i and Kanu disappeared .. then who would i love?
bindu: This means that the really realized beings have realized that in the end they will choose to return to this world to teach others about the self ... and when
their students realize the self they too will return out of compassion for the self.
The end is the choice to return willingly; not due to karma to return out of
compassion for Krishna, who is hiding in all beings
do you see this now?
So
in the end we realize him then we choose to remain to teach instead of dying.... when we die we choose to return;
those who do this are the really realized think about it
tatasthaa: so still love krishna ji, knowing you are him in that sense
bindu: Yes. i think i sent you a file of a talk i had with ashoka about this choice?
tatasthaa: yes ji, i read that. Where you said ro Krishna.. "If You have entered into this word
because of compassion and love for yourself .. then i will do the same.
bindu: Yes, that is the one. Now then for those who have achieved this
they in an inner way, are directly in union with The Lord.... there is no division;
there is no difference and no limit; the inner of these beings is the lord himself; but men see just a man;
they do not understand because they see everything in comparison to themselves.
Here
is An Excerpt from The Refutation of the Void File
In
the Absence of Hearing -
In the Absence of Seeing -
In the Absence of Tasting -
In the Absence of Sensation -
In the Absence of Scent. -
In the Absence of Thought -
The Self Resides in Himself.
In
the comparison of sound to soundlessness, I appear.
In the comparison of the seen to the unseen, I appear.
In the comparison of what is tasted to the tasteless, I appear.
In the comparison of Sensation to sensationlessness, I appear.
In the comparison of Scent to the odorless, I appear.
In the comparison of emptiness to fullness -
cognition appears composed of all these.
The
beginning of comprehension -
The beginning of apperception -
The Beginning of I-ness -
arises from the speck-like particle of the beginning
of the comparison of emptiness, to what is not.
When
thinking tries to think of the infinite -
When trying to refer to emptiness -
There must be the comparison to what one previously knew existed -
hence that which is thought to be the Void -
is
not the infinite, but is merely the absence of what was.
The
Absolute, The Para-Brahman, "The Infinite One" -
is not absence, is not Void - it does not exist in comparison -
else
its existence is dependent upon another -
and
is therefore neither Infinite - Nor One Omnipresent -
as
comparison connotes Duality.
tatasthaa: jai radhe!
bindu: The yogi's say we should get rid of desire, but there is a better way to talk of it
A
man thinks in himself .... i want this .... i need this..... when he says "I" he
refers to his selfhood (jiva ... ego... i-concept) he says i can get this or that.... i have this or that, this is MINE
he should instead think.... this is the lords... this is lord....... this is his...... he wants this..... he has this........... All this is
HIS........ he should say in himself THOU OH Lord NOT "i".
Devotees should think, nothing is mine......... not even this desire.......... nor is this love...... my being is not MINE
- nor is this MY Will.
In Mahabharata,, Arjuna lost his own self ..... so how could he do anything anymore? since he had no self left who could do it?
There was no self to own ... to have . to refer to anymore, since he had lost it...
Nor could there be anyone who could refer to himself since he had lost even himself.
tatasthaa: but one question ji. Why is this "I" is considered bad? Why can we say this "i" is him
.. so everything is mine.. in that sense it is his. Does it matter?
bindu: He is i "I" is not him that is why.
tatasthaa: true.
bindu: When we say "I" we refer to the Jiva (we refer to the limited one)
He is not limited; that is why we should only say "Thou". Because we have renounced realization (immersion in HIM) we returned out of compassion for him.
Tatasthaa: yes.
bindu: He is the realized one, we are not.
tatasthaa: but u are ji, i am not.
bindu: so not i ... but "Thee, oh Great Lord" even i say thou to Him nishu; no living man can ever be greater than
Him, because to live we must put on the clothing of being. Yet inwardly the realized ones... are united in
Him.
tatasthaa: Is it like are we separate from him and at the same time one with him?
bindu: yes, precisely. Jesus said... "I in thee and thee in me." he said:
Thy will be done .. not mine.
tatasthaa: i am in you and u are in me, I am not him but he is me
bindu: yes, see when you said
"I"...... you referred to a limited one
bindu: thus the "I" referred to is not him. It is totally ridiculous to think he is limited
tatasthaa: yes, i am limited .. he is unlimited. why am i thinking i am tata?
why am I identifying with the body? when i am not the body?
bindu: Because to exist you must put on the clothing
So then,
imagine if the i-concept had no clothing.... how could a mere concept exist as a being or entity if everything it could become was mere clothing on the emptiness of the concept of i-ness?
Look at this again:
I am not what you Think I am.
A pair of jeans and a t-shirt I'm not my clothing - this wonderful organ, skin over these bones - i am not that Clothing. These bones and these organs and meat - I am not. I am not what you think I am.
These labels given and attached to me so that you can exist - I am not. This idea - this concept of I - I am not - neither am I the sum of those labels and clothing. Nor am I the one who seems to be the actor - I am not who you think I am.
I am not the clothing the body wears nor am I the body itself. I am not who you think I am. I am not the one referred to in the sentence "I played Golf today"; Nor am I the other referred to in the sentence "I Love You".
I am not who you think I am- i am not an idea or something designated either; I am not empty, nor am I full; I am not who you think I am; Nor am I this mind which appears as thought & nor am i a container which thinks. I am not who you think I am; Nor am I the absence of thinking.
I am not emotion, I am not hearing, sight nor taste nor feeling. I am not who you think I am. All those are labels for the clothing - clothing for the body; clothing for the bones; clothing made of meat. I am not who you think I am.
Thoughts of clothing - thoughts of i-ness all clothing hiding the naked truth of who I am. Come to me naked discard your clothing throw away the rags of your ego.
Whose ego? Whose clothes? Whose veils? Hiding what? I am not who you think I am; nor am the thinker! Neither the Will nor the actor nor principal; I am not who you think I am.
When the thinker thought no more when all the rags are torn away, who remains? Naked and empty - what is empty? I am not who you think I am!
When emptiness is all there
is, what is that? In this case emptiness has no meaning at all.
I am not a thing - nor a being - nor a state - nor consciousness - I am not who you think I am. The rags - the clothing, the tattered mish-mash of rent cloth worn by the beggared ego is not who I am.
If the concept of emptiness has no meaning due to there being only emptiness, surely that is in fact infinite
being.
I am not the witness who is clothed in the beauty of beingness. I am not who you think I am. Nor am i the one who refers to you as "I" in your mind. All that is but clothing hiding your non-existence.
So since the emptiness is clothed in the rags of ego (which is itself non-existent) then how can you exist?
Remove your clothing. I am not who you think I am; I am far to great to be covered by Clothing. I am not who you think I am. I was never born - I never existed; I am not who you think I am.
tatasthaa: Jai radhe Krishna.
bindu: The poor beings existing thinking they are mere clothing or that i can be covered or hidden by clothing.... i
feel so sorry for them.
I am no ones clothing nor any clothing seeming to be covering me. Something in you says "I Am" but I am not who you think I am. Who says that? To the ends of existence I am - But I am not who you think I am.
A designation, a conception appears in me and says "I" to this is added the clothing - it is clothed in I-Ness and refers to that as "I Am" so and so and "I Am That" But I am not who you think I am.
Say in yourself, "I am Not that one I refer to as me"; Say, I am not this one referring to that either - Say, "I Am Naked Reality" Those clothes are the rags of my shattered Ego!
Understand - I am not who you think I am! Nor am I the one who thinks he thinks- be beyond, become naked! - remove your clothing - come to me naked of self - empty of ego, for I am not who you think i am.
Om-Tat-sat
Willing to see the self as the clothing there is the pushing out of the clothing as the representative of I-Ness I who refers to I becomes I and puts on that clothing. He then grows a body to clothe that idea - and also clothes it to become nothing but rags.
A shell that clothing - this to represent THAT - Identity comes - a beggar in rags stinking of putrid rejection of its' own self - trading rags for naked
reality
He pushes out saying I will become - I will arrive - I will be - I am not who you think I am. But he pushes and pushes, he tries to turn inside out but inside out clothing is still clothing. I am not the clothes.
He arrives in the ashram pushing a cart labeled John - But John is the clothing I am not who you think I am!
Carrying a great pile of books and wonderful awards along with piles of PhDs and doctorates, John arrives with labels attached - To Clothing - I am not who you think I am. I am not who you say I am - I am not who you constantly tell yourself you are.
The King arrives! I ask, who are you? He replies: I am the King! I say you are not who you think you are! You are not that Clothing - I am not who you think I am.
Along comes the Police, where is John they ask? I answer he is that pile of rags over there - but he is not who he thinks he is, nor is he who he seems to be. - I am not who you think I am.
Along came a great sportsman, he asked Where is a magic cricket bat? I answer, How can a pile of rags swing a bat? YOU are not who you think you are, and nor am i who you think I am.
I am not the clothing worn by the ego. I am not the ego. I am not the Cosmos, which is nothing more than the clothing worn by empty Naked Reality!
I am Reality itself in all my Nakedness, i have no clothing where I am there are no Tailors; I am naked reality and truth. I am not who you think I am.
Om-Tat-Sat.
I am The Self, the one you cannot see who by referring to the clothing as itself becomes the Jiva, who is the one referring to another layer of clothing as itself.
This goes on in you, Naked reality is clothed in the Body of the I Am and begins to speak as if it were what it looks at. It looks at the clothing only and in shame runs away from itself!
tatasthaa: Jai radhe krishna
A beggar in rags is the Jiva, clothed in other rags carried for aeons... Stinking putrid rags of tattered clothing centuries old! Saying THIS! This is ME!
But I am not who you think I am.
I am naked reality, I do not wear any clothing... I am The Self - not covered with rags. I have no baggage, because I carry no rags. I Never had any. I was never born. But I am NOT who you think I am.
I am naked reality, all things exist in me. I am the Conscious One.
Yes, but when it is thought to be
"I" it is worthless like putrid rag.
Imagine now an emptiness, let your mind (your clothing) go. DO not push yourself forward into it .... subside instead... Take off your clothing, get rid of the rags.
Stand out in nothing - in no place as naked reality, and notice all the things that it is possible to think or know are in you along with every being... Every other place... Let your clothing subside and stop showing it to me..
I am The Self who points at Himself and says "I" - I see myself and say I. Hearing you I hear only myself! Taste, feel, love Myself.. I am the Self. I do not push out the rags and by that push you away. You are my very Self. How can I reject myself?
Om-tat-sat
bindu: I am naked Reality, but I am not who you think I am!...
I am The Conscious ONE. I am The Self. I am not who you think I am.
Om-tat-sat.
But look and see I do not wear any clothing I am naked reality, look for The Self and you will not find yourself; look for me and you will lose your clothing! You will see that tattered rag called you.
Let the rags fall to the dust! Don't pick them up again... But the Will remains wrapped up in the rags! What now? I am not who you think I am!
tatasthaa: We cannot think the "I" .. nor we can feel I.. because it is the one who thinks.. it is one who feels.. how can we? i feel so lost ji.
bindu: Yes nishu, the rags have been ripped away, but the will remains thinking it is the self.
because it says "I" - "This Will".
Who decides to throw away the rag? Not You, YOU are the RAG! I am The Self I am Naked reality. Wrapped in rags! Thus the
Will is disempowered. YOU had not Will, nor had you love, rags are but rags hiding your nakedness.
I am Naked reality, you had not being nor life. I am the Indwelling Self in ALL beings! I am Naked reality Full of consciousness.
I am Naked Reality Only I am Conscious, no clothing has ME. I am The Self wrapped in the rags!
Om-tat-sat
Throw away the rags, Get rid of the labels, rip off the covers, come to me naked of self, I am Naked reality, do not cover me with rags!.
I am The Will - A diamond you have covered in i-ness and wrapped in rags. Stop trading in rags and colors of rags. I am not the clothing. I am not what you think!
I am The Self.
Om-tat-sat
So this is a Gita of The Self, do you understand?
Nishu you said : "We cannot think the "I" .. nor we can feel
"I".. becoz it is the one who thinks.. it is one who feels.. how can we? i feel so lost ji."
tatasthaa: yes ji..
bindu: YOU SAID: " i feel so lost ji."
tatasthaa: yes ji
bindu: and so YOU that "I" should be lost and gotten rid of. I I I I
I I I I I I I I!
I feel, i this "I that" "That I" is the one who is nothing at all.
I I I I I I I I see? That "i" has attributes. and is limited by them.
see?
When the attention goes inward, the inner space is
limitless.
Why trade that for the ego\jiva? Letting go of the limitation of the "i concept"
immediately opens the heart to infinite love
tatasthaa: thank you for the wonderful explanation ji, it is wonderful. Great.
jai bindu ji!
haresh_jiwnani: jai
So then nishu let me ask you something:
Do you like to feel love?
tatasthaa: well ji, that is a tricky question.. hehe. i love Krishna. At this stage.. i would like to feel love.
dhaniganesh: yeah
bindu: No, no you would not choose to love him unless you liked the feeling
tatasthaa: yes ji, u are right. i love the feeling of loving Krishna . You are right and i do understand
your point but i am at this stage, so this is my honest answer.
bindu: Again................Who is that "I"?
tatasthaa: jai radhe krishna
haresh_jiwnani: jai radhe shyam
