To the right is an artists impression of the Lord God, note The Absolute upon which He is projected, note also light emanating from within Him, This signifies His creative power, given Him by The Absolute. This is the Atman, it is Para-Purusha Himself.

This Atman is God Himself, He is Lord Siva. He is Jesus, He is Muhammad, He is Adonai, He is Israel, He is Yahweh , He is Buddha and millions of other Gods also.

To each race, to each person, to each being, to each group of beings, He appears in a form that suits the temperament of the person. Beings group together as their temperament dictates and subscribe to a God or belief system which is conducive to the groups existence. (see this LINK)

There are thus many Beliefs, but only one True God performing the function of creator by existing as existence in The Infinite Absolute. 

Sometimes He looks like Siva, sometimes Ganesha, Sometimes Krishna, sometimes Yahweh, sometimes Jehovah. It depends on the nature of the part of Himself that is looking at Himself.

Having denied the existence of any God with form until the realization of The Absolute, and then coming full circle back to existence one can see how the creation comes about and why it has to be this way. There is a God both with form and without form existing in all and every level from the minutest to the greatest from the most subtle to the most latent. That God Is OM
