Placed on a square cream brick
tower with a lantern house and traditional lens the light was powered by
acetylene gas.
The lantern house and lens were
removed and the light was converted to solar power electric in 1989. It was
the last acetylene light to operate in WA. Its light source now consists of a
small self contained FA251 beacon.
