Gantheaume Point is south west of the township of Broome.

  • The first tower was a 47ft open braced steel tower built in 1905 using the lens which was originally planned for the North Mole Lighthouse
  • It was later replaced with an AGA lantern on a new tower in 1917.

  • When the Lighthouse was demanned in 1922-3, a larger light was fitted.
