Sagalord - Mike has a new page of his own soldiers with some links and information, have a look at the Indians that he has done, really lifelike!.
Dogs of War Mike's website Sagalord was one of the first collectors page I saw on the web, and was an inspiration for me to set up my site. he is still collecting and painting, and has a new site showing off his guys. Some ages are still U/C but keep looking out to see what's coming, like I will.
War Horse Miniatures is the latest website that Mike has published showing off his painting skills and information about toy soldiers. He is also offering some of his figures for sale, so check it out.
FLATS - A wonderful set of pages dedicated to flat toy soldiers, the predecessor to the modern 54 mm toy soldiers that I exhibit on my pages. Alexander has an excellent set of uniform pages dedicated to Napoleonic era, scanned form original plates and many images of the flats directly scanned.
Norbert has a gallery
of toy soldiers of the 1930s featuring German Troops. There is Hausser/Elastolin
and Lineol composition figures. Pictures, identification guides, manufacturers'
catalogues, background information. A valuable source for that era.
The Army Men Homepage This is really great fun site which brings back the 'Little Boy' in all collectors, lots to read but it is why we all love making, painting and collecting. Have a look.
Canon Mania - This site has the most complete collection of cannons seen, including toy soldiers and their cannons.
British Model Soldier Society This site has lots of information on Toy Soldiers from around the world and Britain. The largest and longest established association of model soldier enthusiasts. On the pages can be found information on the many and varied BMSS activities and events of interest to military modellers and toy soldier collectors.
Tony Matteliano's Scale Model Index Providing links to 1504 Scale Model Related Sites, a valuable source of links on the web. All sorts of models -cars, tanks, boats, planes, figures.
Atlantic Toy Soldiers Website Carlo Mastrantonio has set up his pages dedicated to is Italian toy soldier company. he has lots of images of soldiers and boxtops. A must if you are an ATLANTIC collector.
Wolf's Scale Model Page this is a Croatian site showing many forms of modelling with lots of interesting links.
Miniature Wargaming Will Scarvie has set up page showing some of his figures, a collection of articles about painting miniatures, wargames, etc. and several game scenarios. Interesting site, with more images on the way soon.
Medieval and Renaissance Toy Soldiers This site has been set up by Joe Bethancourt and features Elastolin and Lineol composition medieval, and Merten line. He has an excellent site with loads of images of his collection, Many of the figures are what is usually termed the "collector" type that he has assembled, modified and painted himself. Collecting Plastic Toysoldiers is a site that shows off the extensive collection of David Jones. Airfix HO Scale Figures Eric Williamsons site has a virtual catalogue of those little figures that I used to collect in the 1960's. It has brought back memories after seeing the various box art exhibited, but now I realise why I now only paint 54mm figures !
Wooden Warrior is a new website that shows off the handy work of Charlie Horn, and his brother, who makes wonderful wooden vehicles from wood and Salvation Army finds. This is a fun site that shows all boys love to play with trucks and toy soldiers, whatever their age.
U.S. Navy And U.S. Marine Action Figures are featured on Larry Stitt's pages. He is a retired Chief Petty Officer and has set up a great collection of images of the sailors in his collection. There are many that are unique, this site is well worth viewing for something different than the usual soldiers!

De Bataafse Militair Guido van den Berg has his Toy Soldiers exhibited on his new website. he has a lot of 7 Years War, Napoleonic troops and many that I have not seen before. be sure to view this new site, and check out his interesting links too.
Maison Militaire Belge is the website of Alain De Vleminckwho is a fellow collector. He has information about collecting, and included some images of his soldiers too. have a look at what's he is doing, there even may be something of interest for sale too.

Napoleon at War is a set set up to show off the new collection of Napoleonic Figures by Del Prado, which come weekly via the news agent, with an abridged version of the Osprey men At Arms book related to the figure. This sits is organised so you can view the opposing armies and allies in their respective arms of individual figures. I am waiting for this collection to arrive in Australia, as its only released in UK & Europe so far.
Figures Journal is the latest website by Norert Schrepf, it is an on-line magazine for toy soldier collectors. It is in German and English language with a lot of service for visitors. There is a sales list contains more than 1400 antique toy soldiers from all over the world and he invites collectors to trade their figures on our website for free.
Maciej Pawlica is a sculptor and has succeeded to combine his interests - history & military and his passion - sculpture. All figures are fully hand made, he uses special plastic material called "modelina" and binary masses "green putty". He makes all figures in pieces, than puts them together with the glue and paints them. Size of the figures is between 80 - 300 mm. most of figures, which he has done, belongs to XVI-XVII century.
Roberts Heraldic Knights has a great website showing of his wonderful knights, both mounted and foot, and Vikings. He also does Conversions, Restoration, Commissions, and has a Painting Service. Tye Roberts, is from Annandale, Minnesota U.S.A., so check out this site and see what there.
Comic Book Toy Soldiers. The site covers vintage Mail-order Toy Soldier sets of all types sold in comic books from 1940's-1980's. I remember seeing them on the backs of comics from the USA when I was a kid, but never managed to get any. James Elliott has established a great site with lots of images of both the comics and figures.
Plastic Toy Soldiers Eddy Robson has a great site with loads of plastic soldiers by British makers of the 1950s onward. If you are looking for the older figures, or want to see what was made them, check it out.

Vive l'Empereur is Alain Lastienne's site that shows his collection of French soldiers from the Napoleonic Wars. The figures have been cast and painted by him and some are from Prince August Moulds, both 25mm and 54mm, so check out his work.
Comic Book Toy Soldiers is a web site dedicated to the Classic Mail-Order Toy Soldier Sets found in Comic Book Ads from the 1950's - 1980's... well worth a trip back down memory lane :)

Bill Farmer, Soldier Sculptor has established a comprehensive website showing many of the master figures that he has made for the plastic toy soldier market over the past 25 years. Seeing the many figures he has made, as sculpted masters, the resulting plastic figures and painted ones make you realise the immense skill he has is this field and what he has provided to our hobby with these wonderful figures.
Painted Toy Soldiers is a site showing some wonderfully painted soldiers, and is the store font for a painting service. The site is presently under construction, but keep a lookout for an update soon.
The Painted Soldier shows off the painting skills of Pat Taranto who is a professional artist who has been collecting and painting military figures for the last 30 years. His site shows some of his work, including his favourite period, Napoleonic.
Thierry Goncalves is a collector from Belgium and has established a Web Blog page where he exhibits many of his wonderful collection of toy soldiers which depict Belgian soldiers trough the ages, as well a wide range of colonial troops. This is well worth a visit, and maybe leave a message.
Battle Scene Productions overall aim is to show respect to all branches of the Military, through accurate and realistic depiction of their actions. They have a range of dioramas showing off battle scenes using many toy soldiers by readily available manufacturers, and its great to see what can be done to bring the figures 'to life'

Turkish Soldier is the Blog website of collector Cem Ozdogan, who lives in Istanbul and the site features information of Turkish Soldiers on the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915, as well as images of his collection. this is a must for collectors of that era, when Britain and its allies tried to conquer the Ottoman Empire by landing on the beaches and began the ANZAC tradition.

Arquebus Military Miniatures sells lots of toy soldier from the Napoleonic era, American Civil War, Romans and War of the Roses. Great site with lots of thumbnail images showing the soldiers.
STAD'S Toy Soldiers Sell a wide range of plastics and it is a valuable source of what is available on the market today. There is an almost complete catalogue of new plastics with descriptions of the figures.

Toy Soldier HQ Kent Sprecher has a mail order company selling loads of plastic toy soldiers. He is right up to date with all the latest releases and has a links page to other sites.
Michigan Toy Soldier Co. Here is one of the most comprehensive sites for toy soldiers. They specialize in old Toy Soldiers of all types and also carry an extensive inventory of new plastic, resin and metal Toy Soldiers. If you are into casting your own, there is a page of supplies that you can uses to make your own moulds. Well worth a visit.

Toy Soldier Recruitment sells collectible and new toy soldiers at bargain prices. They offer some complete playsets, but sell most soldiers, vehicles and accessories by the piece, so collectors can complete their sets.
Stanbridges Another Perth store that I shopped at for about 40 years! They have a huge range of model trains, plains and cars, but I now use them for paint and plastic soldier supplies.
Green's Collectibles Al Green has a new website for a shop in New Jersey, he has loads of soldiers listed from companies including East of India Company, PFN, Marlborough, Britains, Conte, Charles Biggs.

Spillway Toys deal exclusively with the sale, customisation and conversion of 54 mm toy soldiers manufactured by the LeMan's Collection. Unique Collections of Greenwich. Glen Chapman has a wonderful shop, just next to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London. In this store you will find all sorts of toy soldiers, from the very latest Premier Range of Charles Biggs, to antique Britains. If there are any figures you want for you collection, give Glen an email and ask him if he has it, as there are boxes of soldiers in his back room, that he just can't display. I paid a visit to his shop in May, and was very impressed with his range of figures.
MKL Modelsis the largest stockist of W. Britains toy soldiers in the UK, and MKL have been supplying quality toy soldiers and models to their customers all over the world for more than a quarter of a century. Lyn Kenwood runs the Guards Toy Soldier Shop in London, and it must be one of the best shops around. Its located in Wellington Barracks next to the Guards Museum, so its close to all the pageantry that is London.
The Armoury of St James is just of Piccadilly, and has a great range of figures ranging from Frontline, Britains, Charles Biggs, and some wonderful Russian masterpieces in the connoisseur style. Together with an extensive range of medals and military artefacts this shop will well worth a visit.
Old & New Lead and Plastic Figures Peter Dale has set up his site for those collectors who are wanting to buy old Britains, Timpo, Atlantic and may others figures. Its a site that has lots to offer, and if its not there just send Peter an email, and he may be able to find it for you. I saw his display at the UK Toy & Model Soldier Show this year, and I know his has a great range of figures.
Foxsoldiers a new web site dedicated to toy soldier collectors. Steven Fox and his team have built a dynamic site that offers an online magazine, a comprehensive selection of new and antique soldiers, exclusive figures and a Collector's Club.
Cottage-Industries.com is a Civil War site that has the most comprehensive listing of Shenandoah Miniatures and a great range of Imrie/Risley Civil War Field Artillery and Gun Crews, and Leaders of the Civil War Miniatures. In addition they have Civil War Books, Testors paints and coming soon a line of resin model kits of the Civil War Navies from "Old Steam Navy". This is a very interesting site, well worth a visit.

Military Miniatures Warehouse specialises in the sale of historical miniature kits. Their main focus is on American Civil War figures, Civil War models (naval vessels, siege guns, etc.), diorama accessories, how-to aids, as well as kits from other pre-20th century American history, including Revolutionary War figures, War of 1812 figures, etc. Civil War products come from manufacturers all over the world and are typically made of white metal (pewter, metal alloys, etc.), or resin. Most figures require some assembly, and all are unpainted. They also have expanded their assortment to include painted figures from a variety of historical periods.

Their pages cover almost every aspect of the Napoleonic Era from Bonaparte's career, family and lovers, to his campaigns, battles and conquests. UNIFORMS OF AUSTRALIAN ARMED FORCES I found an album with swap cards inside in a second hand shop, and so it can be enjoyed by both this and future generations, I decided to scan the images and reproduce the text from this 1964 publication. The cards were given away at GOLDEN FLEECE Service Stations to the children of the motorists as an incentive to buy petrol there. Both these cards and this petrol company have disappeared from the Australian scene today, as have the uniforms, but have a look at what splendid colourful uniforms were used.

uniform details used by the Imperial German troops in Africa. They have
some fine pictures of uniforms scanned from old books and were very helpful
as painting references, but the language is in German, so if you don't
understand, just check out the images.
1789-1815 has some of the best line drawings of Napoleonic Uniforms on the web. There are 12 plates of Waterloo Amies each with 16 soldiers per plate showing French, British, Dutch, Prussian, Brunswick and Nassau Armies. There are also images of re-enactors and much more, but being in French, I can't read the text. Well worth viewing, and a valuable resource.
Imperial Russian Army is a site with images and original uniforms from the Imperial Russian Army and is quite comprehensive showing weapons as well.
Prussian Military is a most comprehensive website showing Uniform Plates by H. Knötel, German Regiments in 1914, French Uniform 1690 to 1900 by Dr. Lienhart & Humbert, Napoleonic Uniforms, German Naval Uniforms and so much more. I'm sure that you will be able to find much to see in the German language site, just start learning how to find the Back Button.
Sgt. Coignet Equipe is a French site that has loads of information about Napoleonic Uniforms. It includes many of the HISTOREX Plates I have used in my Uniforms of Napoleonic Wars site, but well worth viewing.
Chakoten - Danish Military Historical Society has a new website that's worth viewing. There are some pages in English, but all are in Danish, but the information on Uniforms and Figures is well worth the visit to see what's on offer. Keep checking the site as many new articles are coming on-line soon.
British Regimental Drums and Colours in North America is a very comprehensive website showing the Kings and Regimental Colours and the drums as used by British Forces in North America from 1755 to 1783. There is also a brief history of the regiment and detailed images of both the soldier's and the drummer's lace used on their uniforms. A very valuable resource.
Uniforms of the Campaign in Belgium 1815 is a French site that is packed with plates of the Armies of the time when Napoleon returned to France, only to be defeated at Waterloo in 1815. Its a brilliant site that is ever expanding and worthwhile to bookmark.
This new site is the storefront for master illustrator André Jouineau who has produced many books depicting the uniform details for Napoleonic, American Civil War and WW1eras, and you are able to purchase uniform plates on-line at a very reasonable cost with many available now, and regular monthly additions.
South American Historic Uniforms is a very comprehensive site depicting the colourful uniforms form the South America countries in the 1800's. Its period and area that I don't have much knowledge, and so gives me an insight into that time and place. Well worth a visit.

Norsemen Miniatures - Sigve Solberg has a great site which is showing his sculpting, casting and painting of Norwegian Soldiers from many eras. They range from Vikings through to the present day. Its well worth a look at what is coming from the only Norwegian manufacturer of toy soldiers.

Bill the Bandsman makes and paints Scots Bandsmen from around the world. He is from Canada, so many of their bands feature, but also included are Commonwealth Bandsmen from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Australia, South Africa and UK. He does a great job of painting his figures, so check out his site.
BARZSO Ron Barzso has got his own website now showing all of his wonderful plastic figures of American History. He has the Last of the Mohicans, British, French troops, and Battle of New Orleans as well. Also is his new figures of the American Civil War and what will be coming in the future. CONTE COLLECTIBLES Here is the site of the latest "Shining Star" to emerge on the Toy Soldier Front. Their figures feature both plastics and hand painted connoisseur metal, from many eras beginning with the American Civil War, Zulu, War Lord and Beau Geste. They are some of the best figures available on the market today. Coming soon is British Airborne, Vikings, Normans, Confederate casualties and another 25 painted metal sets and plastic playsets of War Lord 2, Longest Day 1, The Patriot and shortly thereafter Pirates, Mask of Zorro, a couple of Westerns and Spartacus. ARMYHOUSE makes an excellent range of figures ranging from Egyptians to modern day Spanish Troops. It is based in Barcelona Spain, and has an on-line catalogue and order system. Scruby's Toy Soldiers Jack Scruby was one of more prolific US makers
of toy soldiers and war gaming figures in the late 50s and 60s (he also
pioneered the use of RTV silicone to make moulds).
Jack left a legacy
and the company to his daughter, Wendy, who, along with Dan Patterson,
have kept the casting machines spinning since his death in 1988.
Many of the older toy and model soldier books reference Jack's extensive
range of figures, which are still available from the company. Figures are

Lead Warrior Eduard Kasinsev has set up this site showing his historical miniatures which range from Ancients through Medieval to Napoleonics and Russians. They are very detailed figures and well worth your visit.
Homegrown Miniatures master sculptor Col Darrell Combs USMC (Ret) captures the romanticism and glory of military history with the brutal and harsh reality of armed conflict in fine miniature detail. They have Museum quality 25mm, 54mm, 90mm, 120mm, 200mm historically accurate miniatures. they're are some great unique figures here, so have a look.
DeGree Miniatures come from Malta, the island in the Mediterranean, and David Grech has figures that are unique and never been seen before on the market, Soldiers who served on the island. They range from mid 18th century until the 1970's. there is a very extensive historical background also available on this site to complement the figures.
ZINNFIGUREN AND ENGRAVINGS OF VLADIMIR NUZHDIN If you haven't seen Flat Figures, this is site to see, Vladimir shows his wonderful workmanship of a true craftsman. He has figures of Scots, Russian Characters and some military, and it is a site worth viewing just to see the details in his castings, and the finished painted figures.
Tradition of London is one of the major manufactures of toy soldiers in UK and a visit to London is not complete without going to Mayfair to see the shop. I visited there last year and was made most welcome by the Manager Steve hare and the staff. I was amazed by the number of soldiers exhibited in the tiny shop, and more so by the rows of Charles Stadden castings on parade in their basement / dispatch office. The website is still to fully take shape, but if you can't go to London (right now) pay the site a visit.
Shenandoah Minatures have been featured on my website for some time. Paul Clarke in Australia makes THE BEST American Civil War figures that are available. The fine details in the sculpting and clean crisp casting make these kits a work of art. Trebuchets Store has working scale models of Trebuchets that will grace any medieval battle. What are Siege Engines? Well, centuries before the practical use of gunpowder, ancient armies employed artillery against castles and fortifications using enormous throwing machines powered by humans, twisted cord, bent wood and metal, or gravity. King and Country has developed into one of the world's major designers and producers of all-metal, hand-painted 1:32 scale military and civilian miniatures. In addition to their metal miniatures figures, the company has also developed an amazing and expanding range of scale model buildings, fighting vehicles and tanks, ships and aircraft, all made of polyresin. Their figures range from Romans and old China trough Napoleonic, American Rev War and Civil War to Vietnam and Afghanistan.
Hornet and Wolf were new to me until I was sent some of their American Civil War figures to paint for a collector. The figures were very well detailed and were a combination of resin and metal. I have recently found their website and see the full range of figures available, ranging from Napoleonic and American Civil War in 1/32 scale and WW2 figures in 1/35.
Baueda is a manufacturer of fine tabletop wargame accessories, they have just started out so there are only a few items in the catalogue so far, but it's growing fast and will be expanded constantly! So far they are concentrating on 15mm & 20mm scales, but if you see the workmanship of these walls, tents and fortifications, and ask for 54mm, I'm sure the demand will get some of that scale made as well.

Jean BARRIERE is a producer of flats, 30 mm flat figures, and has a large range of figures from ancient, through medieval and many for the Napoleonic era. The figures are sold in sets, and some individual, in both castings and painted, so this is a site to see another type of toy soldier.

TinBay is a Russian company, that sells on Ebay, and produces a very extensive range of figures, ranging from Ancient to medieval, Samurai and onto hundreds of Napoleonic. There figures are amongst the finest that I have seen, being individually assembled and painted to a very high standard, so explore their on line catalogue and see what's there.
Manes Marzano Collection is a new maker from Argentina that has a varied range of figures, many of which are not made by anyone else. The range includes Historical Figures such as Landsknecht and American Civil War, a new series of Dervishes on camels, and metal toy soldiers in 54mm of Napoleonic, American Civil and Crimean Wars. If you are looking for something different check this one out.
El Templario is another new Argentine maker that make a vast range of traditional style toy soldiers from various eras, and regions, including South America and Europe. CORGI the famous British maker of diecast vehicles has expanded its quality range to now include 1/32 scale military figures. This range is titled "Forward march" and the figures are centred on WW2 and feature individual figures as well as 6 piece sets and comes from CORGI-USA so have a look at these accurately detailed.
Gary Hunt has recently started up his own 54mm toy soldier company and so far manufactures Samurai, Zulu, WW1, South Americans New Zealand Wars and Pacific Islanders ( also have some sci/fi stuff). The figure kits are cast in Pewter and are quite unique, so check them out soon.

MATTHIAS-MANSKE, SOLID LEAD TOY SOLDIERS produces a range of 40mm figures comprising the (European) armies in the Age of Reason - in the middle of the 18th century in the tradition of Nuremberg. Alexander's Toy Soldiers creates fine 54mm hand painted figures in traditional gloss finish . They also produce vignettes and charming scenes, vehicles, civilian and military and can undertake special commissions. The Napoleonic era is the bulk of the production, but Crimean War, Policemen, Lancers, Coronation sets and some American Civil War are all represented. I have a few of these wonderful figures in my collection, and can highly recommend them to you.

Black Cat Miniatures is new company established by Scott Odden who is a very enthusiastic collector and painter who has sculpts and makes his own range of figures. The first range is Russian Infantry and Artillery c 1812 and they are available as castings or painted figures and feature some of the widest range of gunners available. Well worth checking this one out if you are looking for Napoleonic Era figures, as well as his range of plastics for sale.
Admiralty Ship Models although not in strict terms is a toy soldier maker, but I was most impressed with the craftsmanship of the ships, that I think it deserves to be included in my links. There are some wonderful models on display on this site, and its credit to the makers to be able to have such fine details shown in a wide range of sailing ships.
White Tower Miniatures and a brand new company making figures with a mix of traditional and new styling, they use four sculptors in the UK and have four ranges, Legends of Sherwood, Normans, Legends of the West and English Civil War. King and Country UK as well as selling the Hong Kong based figures have an exclusive range of figures themselves based on incidents in the Crimean War. The Neville Family business also organise and run the London Toy Soldier Shows which are a highlight of the collecting year so if you are close by, or far away like me, make the 'pilgrimage'. Alliage de Qualité is a company offering a unique range of Napoleonic era figures, in both painted and as castings. Whats different with these figures is that they have some armies not normally avaiable, such as Portugues, Austarian, French Light Infantry and Prussian Landwher. They are working towards developing new types of products, new collections at different scales and currently working on the Medieval Age, the American Civil War and the Roman Empire.
Fleurbaix Toy Soldiers started production in 2008, by Greg Simon making 54mm scale miniatures that are hand painted to the standard that he would want in our own collection. The company is situated on coastal South Australia, and Greg has have been producing figures for over 25 years and can offer the quality of these years to the commercial market. He recently purchased moulds from the following makers, Music in Miniature, Rosedale, Toy Army Workshop, J G Miniatures, Mountford Metal Miniatures, Ward Toy Soldiers, V C Miniatures, Battlezone, HM of GB, (some of) Tommy Atkins, (some of) John Eden Studios so keep a lookout on his site as they become available again.
Bear's Knights is a Russian company from St Petersburg that makes figures from a wide range of eras, from Ancient, through Medieval to Napoleonic and Russian and all painted to a very high standard.
Golden Chersonese Miniatures was set up in Singapore as an artistic endeavour to produce a unique range of stylized metal miniatures to portray exotic, lost kingdoms and unusual cultures from this part of the world. The first two Series and sets are based on the Indonesian Islands and the Bali Series offers various sets of gamelan orchestras, dancers and performers depicting the various dance and drama performances. The 2nd set of figures are based on court costumes from the Kraton or court of Yogyakarta, in cental Java. This series will feature stately and processional themes. Sets will be developed around the Sultan’s court and a most magnificent gamelan orchestra set. For something REALLY different have a look at this ever expanding new website.
Walkerloo Toy Soldiers are paper soldiers for the 21st Century. They are expressive, historically accurate illustrations mounted on to both sides of thick durable re-cycled card. So far there are toy soldiers from 10 different regiments who fought at the battle of Waterloo, and more to come, so check out this other medium for some great figures.
Valiant Miniatures is the website of Bryan Crawley who worked as a painter for HERALD TOY SOLDIERS from 1955-60 while at Hornsey art college in North London. He is now retired, but decided to go back to making and painting toy soldiers and specialises in Timpo Ivanhoe & Agincourt Valiant miniatures. He took over Valiant miniatures and purchased the Timpo moulds for the lead knights so the castings are from genuine original moulds not copy moulds.

Forlorn Hope Soldiers is the new owner of Alma Figures, who have a wide range of painted soldiers and castings based on the Crimean War. I have many of the figures in my collection and can recommend them to you. As well as Alma, Michel Harlange, the owner also has many different older sets of figures for sale, both on the website and at the toy soldiers shows he attends both in Europe and the UK.
Flying General Workshop is a Chinese maker specialising in table top wargame figures (28mm or 1:56 scale) based on the most popular Chinese historic period, AD184-280. The website is in Chinese, but there is an accompanying English page, but to see what's they have on offer you can also try Michigan Toy Soldiers, who stock the figures.

Tommy’s War is a new
maker from UK producing 54mm highly detailed figures from World War 1. Initially
the figures have all come from 1914, they
have been released chronologically with British in Flanders, but will then have
the Indian army who were the first Empire troops in action then the Canadians
and then, of course, the Australians and New Zealanders at Gallipoli and also
other theatres such as Egypt, Palestine, Mesopotamia and Europe. I have painted
the fist batch of figures and can highly recommend them to you.

Flintlock Publishing produce sets of postcards that depict the Uniforms of British Soldiers over the centuries. I can sincerely recommend then as a valuable resource to all who research this subject, and paint their own soldiers.
Compagnie d’Elite is a wonderful site that exhibits Napoleonic Uniform Plates, these are produced by Peter Schuchhardt, in Germany, and are a great aid in painting your own figures and wanting to get it right.
Plastic Warrior is a glossy magazine published six times per year, distributed in 30 different countries around the world, also providing a range of special issues and manufacturers checklists devoted to plastic toy soldiers and model figures.
John Tunstill's - World of Model Soldiers John ran a Model soldier shop 'Soldiers' in London for many years and also designed and produced a range of metal figured (Soldiers' Soldiers) between 1977 and 1986. The website contains listings of his production plus excerpts from his book "The World of Model Soldiers".
Regiment Magazine is not back on sale with a new publisher. This bi-monthly publication deals with the history of British Regiments and is an invaluable resource to modellers and historians. You can subscribe on-line, so you do not miss an issue.
Alix Baker is an internationally known and collected artist/historian working full time for regiments, museums and on official and private commissions and is said to be the leading person in the country in her particular genre of military art. I have some of her fine work in postcards and prints and use them as a valuable uniform resource while painting my toy soldiers. Check out her site and see her wonderful work, and I'm sure you will find something that will be interest.
Toy Soldier Collector is published bi-monthly (by KRM Publishing Ltd) and features informative news and reviews sections as well as in-depth articles on makers, dealers, collectors and every other aspect of this fascinating hobby. It only covers toy soldiers, sorry but no action figures or kits, they leave that for the other specialist magazines.

SYNAIR Corporation manufactures easy-to-use room temperature curing urethane rubber and silicone mould-making systems, casting resins, release agents, pigments, fillers, and much more. I will be reviewing their products soon when I create some of my own moulds of toy soldiers, but have a look at this site, its very comprehensive and may interest those of you who want to cast your own.
JACOBERGER in France has moulds for sale on this site. Featured are the German moulds "Meisterzinn", which is shown extensively on the catalogue pages.
