PHOTOGRAPHY
was done using natural light with Fuji 35 mm colour negative film,
taken with a Pentax MX, using a Tamron 28-85mm zoom lens. The photographs
were scanned using a UMAX Astra 610S scanner, with further image processing
using Paintshop Pro.
REPAIRS
I have now taken on some repairs of old broken
toy soldiers that I found in a military antique shop.
They were Britains 2nd Grade painted series,
2 had broken legs, but the parts were there. Someone had attempted to paint
them , so as their originality was destroyed, I took up the task of restoration.
This involved pinning the broken legs, making a hoof for one horse, then
the painting.
