Welcome!
I am Glen Spoors, a Lecturer in Game Design & Culture at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. This site is an archive of my past and present research and creative work, although at present I am still updating content.
My academic background is Cultural Studies and my research tends towards fantasy, science fiction, and horror in games and other popular media. My fiction comprises two novels and various short stories in the vein of literary fantasy and horror, as well as surrealist prose and poetry. My music is generally acoustic and crosses a variety of genres but could best be identified as urban folk. My visual art is mostly confined to pencil and pen fantasy and grotesques.
